Trump made a definitive criticism of US ammunition delivery to Ukraine

Joe Biden’s Administration has left the Army without ammunition because it is sending them to Ukraine, former US President Donald Trump said this Monday, during his speech at an annual business meeting in Detroit, Michigan.

The Republican candidate reiterated that if he were head of state, the conflict between Russia and Ukraine would not intensify. Therefore, he said, if he wins the election in November he will avoid a Third World War. “When I am president, America will be respected again,” he said.

“I will take immediate steps to restore our depleted Army. We don’t have ammunition again […] We gave it all away to different groups, especially to Ukraine,” he denounced. “We had so many missiles that we didn’t know if we could fire them all. We had so many warehouses, they were full, we took new warehouses. And now we’re back to a point where we have no ammunition. “These people [the Biden Administration] are that destructive,” he added.

“They know that I am always looking for good, very sophisticated words. I am a very cultured person and I like sophisticated words. But there is only one word for this: they are stupid, stupid people. I guess you could say incompetent, it sounds maybe a little better. I don’t know which is better: being stupid or being incompetent, because they are both,” he stated.

He also reiterated that the European Union (EU) should be more concerned about the Ukrainian situation and that Washington has spent more on that conflict. “I told them they had to equalize. Then I read: ‘Barack Obama is much more popular.’ Of course he is. “He said he would invest all the money,” he said ironically.

On the other hand, in a recent interview with Shawn Ryan, a former member of the US Navy special forces, broadcast on his YouTube channel, Trump recalled that the Russian Armed Forces have excellent experience in the winter war. “Russia is very good at fighting in winter. They defeated Germany, they defeated Napoleon. They are a powerful military force, and Ukraine is not. What happens is that we allocate a lot of money to Ukraine,” he said.

He also specified that kyiv has already received about 250.000 billion dollars from Washington. Without the help of Western nations, he added, “it would have been defeated in the first week” of the conflict. At the same time, he drew attention to the “traditionally very high level of corruption” in Ukraine.
