Donald Trump’s election campaign announced that “the former Republican president will appear before the public on January 28 as part of his bid to run for the presidential elections in 2024, in South Carolina, one of the early voting states for the first time since announcing his intention to run in November.”
“Two well-known South Carolina Republican icons will join Trump at the statehouse where he unveils his campaign leadership team in the state: Senator Lindsey Graham, one of Trump’s most loyal supporters, and Governor Henry McMaster,” a campaign ad said.
South Carolina wields clout as one of the first states to contest the presidential nomination in election years.
