Trump: It seems to me that Biden is staying in the presidential race and does not want to give up

In Trump’s first television interview since the debate between him and Biden last month, the former US president told Fox News: “It seems to me that he is really staying in the race. He is arrogant and does not want to give up and does not want to do that.”

In his interview, Trump gave his first detailed account of the debate, which was organized by CNN in Atlanta, during which Biden often lost his train of thought and sometimes spoke incoherently.

“I will tell you, it was a weird debate because within a few minutes, the answers Biden gave were so illogical,” the Republican billionaire said of his Democratic rival’s performance in that debate.

Trump noted that he “deliberately did not look much at Biden while the president was speaking.”

“I caught a glimpse of him when he was in the midst of giving some really bad answers,” he said.

“They weren’t even answers, they were just a bunch of words that had no meaning or logic,” he added.

It is noteworthy that Biden’s performance in the debate caused a state of panic and chaos in the Democratic camp, as calls were issued for him to withdraw from the presidential race.

Although Biden admitted his failure in this debate, he stressed that he “will not budge an inch” from his position on the presidential race and that “all he needs is more sleep and rest.”

Biden also said last Saturday, during a fundraising event for his election campaign in New York City, that he is fully confident in his ability to perform his duties as president of the country.

The first debate between Biden and Trump took place on June 27, and the next round will take place on September 10, following Biden is officially nominated for the Democratic presidential election.

The US presidential election is scheduled to take place on November 5.
