Former President Donald Trump has pleaded not guilty to 34 counts of falsifying business documents.
Earlier Tuesday, Trump arrived at a Manhattan court in New York, where he faced more than 30 charges in the Stormy Daniels case.
In January 2018, The Wall Street Journal published an article alleging that in 2006, Trump was allegedly in a relationship with actress Stormy Daniels, and shortly before the 2016 presidential election, he paid her $130,000 to keep quiet. Trump himself assured that he had no personal relationship with Daniels. The ex-president and his allies have repeatedly stated that the accusations once morest him are politically motivated.
From media publications, it became known that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg demanded the appearance of the former head of the White House to testify on the merits of the charges once morest him.
