Saturday May 11, Donald Trump was able to hold a large meeting, he who is most of the time prevented from doing so by his trial in New York. He gave a 90-minute speech on the beach in Wildwood, New Jersey, to tens of thousands of supporters. That’s already good, but the ex-president never hesitates to add more.

He declared that he managed to gather more fans than Bruce Springsteen during his concerts, even going so far as to say that the Boss voted for him, while the rocker is a loyal supporter of Joe Biden.

A Westwood spokesperson confirmed his comments, saying that between 80 and 100,000 people had come to the beach to listen to the billionaire. These assertions caused a reaction, especially when a local media, nj.comspecifies that the space between the two pontoons can accommodate a maximum of 40,000 people.

Few aerial shots were immortalized of the event, rather ground cameras which also showed the spectators leaving little by little, Donald Trump dragging on in his speech, given while a cold wind was blowing.

A photo from a Rod Stewart concert

Roger Stone, an unwavering supporter of Donald Trump, published a photo of the colossal crowd on X, saying that it was not Biden who might do the same.

Except that he quickly got a slap on the wrist, the image showing a Rod Stewart concert in Rio in 1994. No problem for Roger Stone, who republished a sort of quiz including his fake photo and saying : find the mistake! And specifying that he wanted to make a joke, but that liberals have no sense of humor. He even ends up saying that 10,000 people isn’t so bad. We are far from 100,000.

The three other images are in fact images of Wildwood, including one of the rare aerial ones and which seems far from showing 80 to 100,000 people.

And a Bruce Springsteen fan posted an image of a Boss concert in New Jersey, which brought together 82,500 people and it’s not at all the same thing, as we see below and as the reports the HuffPost. But once more, it has to be alternative facts the way Donald Trump likes them.
