Trump does not feel like a radical

WASHINGTON (EFE).— Former U.S. president and Republican candidate Donald Trump (2017-2021) stressed Tuesday that if he returns to power he will end the country’s crime rate, a central theme in his campaign for the White House, and distanced himself from those who call him radical.

“I’m not a radical. I’m just a common-sense person,” he said at a rally in Howell, Michigan, focused on crime and safety.

Americans, he said, want a strong border and police: “We want a good life. We want to be safe,” he told law enforcement officers in the city, adding that if he wins the November 5 elections he will offer the country “law enforcement, security and peace.”

Against his opponent, Vice President and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, there will be, in his opinion, “crime, chaos, destruction and death.”

“I believe in law enforcement. The other group doesn’t. We’re going to stop violent crime in America. We’re going to stop Kamala’s crime wave, which is reaching levels never seen before. She’s the most radical leftist person who has ever considered the presidency,” he said.
