In an interview with US media, Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene compared Donald Trump’s journey to that of Nelson Mandela and Jesus.

The controversial politician made the statement while in New York to support the former US president during his historic appearance.
She mentions that these men also had to face justice.
“Trump joins some of the most important figures in our history in being arrested today. Nelson Mandela was arrested and spent several years in prison. Jesus was arrested and even killed,” she said.
