House Speaker Mike Johnson said Biden should be “challenged” by the political attack, as he allegedly contributed to “an inflamed political environment.”

“We need to turn down the temperature in this country,” Mike Johnson told NBC. “We need leaders of all parties, on both sides, to make sure that happens so we can move forward and maintain the free society that we are all fortunate to have.”

The Louisiana Republican also mentioned that it was normal for the environment to be “heated up,” while the only message Joe Biden is sending is that “the election of Trump would be a threat to democracy and the Republic would end,” he told NBC.

Ohio Senator J.D. Vance, in an X-rated post, also criticized Mr. Biden’s rhetoric: “Today is not an isolated incident. The central tenet of the Biden campaign is that former President Donald Trump is an authoritarian fascist who must be stopped at all costs,” he wrote. “This rhetoric led directly to the attempted assassination of President Trump.”

For Trump ally South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, “this was an assassination attempt aided and abetted by the radical left and the corporate media who continually label Trump a threat to democracy, a fascist or worse,” he commented in X.

“Disgusting” comments targeting Donald Trump by left-wing activists and Mr. Biden are being held accountable, according to Trump campaign manager Chris LaCivita. “The best way is through the ballot box,” he said via an X-rated post.

Joe Biden’s comments regarding Trump, saying it’s “time to put Trump in the bullseye,” according to a recording obtained by CNN, are being strongly criticized. “Every American should be outraged by Joe Biden inciting violence once morest Donald Trump,” Keith Self mentioned in X.
