The director of the Ramiro Ñique educational institution of the Moche district, in Trujillo, Armando Flores, denounced that unidentified criminals stole 60 laptops and three multimedia projectors from the computer rooms. The teams were new, because this campus was just reopened on March 7 last.
The robbery occurred last Sunday night and apparently there were three criminals who climbed the walls to enter the school. Later, they went directly to the computer room, located on the third floor of the school, and forced the doors and even broke the locks to commit the crime.
The stolen laptops were 30 for the primary level and 30 for the secondary level of CE Ramiro Ñique. They were going to be used as of May 2, but now computer classes have been suspended until further notice. They are valued at 250 thousand soles.
Complaint
The director of the school reported this robbery at the Moche police station so that they can carry out the investigations. He added that, at the time of the escape, the criminals dropped the device where the recordings of their entrance to the school are. That is why they expect the Police to do their job.
As indicated, there would be up to 5 criminals who would have participated in this robbery. Two of them would have waited in a car on the North Pan-American Highway.
Finally, they requested support from the Regional Government of La Libertad, since the 1,700 students at the primary and secondary levels who study at that educational institution will be affected by this loss.
