With five gold medals, three silver medals and one bronze medal, Trujillo closed the Feveda Cup National Artistic Swimming Championship held in Valera, completing a total of ten medals and being crowned champion in the initiation medal category.
Antonella Suarez added a gold medal at the end of the National Championships and the Las Valquirias Club with its 11 athletes, closed an excellent performance that gave the host state a status of power in the initiation categories of the aquatic discipline. In addition, the Trujillo delegation finished second by accumulation of points and third by Association.
The performance of the local representation demonstrated the effective technical preparation work that “La Olímpica” Anabell Ortíz, together with her daughter Llebana Mijares Ortiz, carry out with Las Valquirias.
A separate recognition for the sports leadership of the Regional Government, which not only recovered the aquatic facilities of the Ciudad Deportiva Luis Loreto Lira, but also enabled Feveda, through Adaet, to organize this national event in Valera, following more than ten years of absence for these pools.
During the final award ceremony, Professor Gabriel González was present, representing Indet, chaired by Jesús “Trompo” González.
