According to initial information, around 20 pm on February 15, the truck carrying BKS 92C-048.91 was driven by driver Nguyen Quang B. (SN 1991; resident in Que Xuan 2 commune, Que Son district, Quang Nam province) to arrive. parked in front of the TM gas station in Nam Phuoc town, next to the container carrying BKS 43H-025.09 towed a trailer carrying BKS 43R-036.33.
At nearly 3 a.m. on February 16, a gas station employee was on duty when he heard a loud explosion in front of the gas station, so he ran out and discovered the truck on the left side was on fire. The male employee immediately shouted for everyone to put out the fire and reported it to the authorities.
The fire caused heavy damage
Although everyone tried to put out the fire, but because there were many flammable goods on the truck, the fire broke out violently, the fire spread through the container parked next to it. After that, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force of Quang Nam Provincial Police was present at the scene to control the fire, preventing the fire from spreading to the gas station. By nearly 5 a.m. on February 16, the fire was extinguished.
At the scene, the truck was almost completely burned, and many goods on the truck were burned; The container truck was also burned, the front end was affected. The initial cause was determined to be an electrical short on the truck.
