The president of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (Inameh), Reidy Zambrano, reported that Tropical Wave No. 33 is approaching Venezuelan territory.
In this regard, Zambrano stated that it is estimated that the 33rd vessel will arrive in Venezuelan territory on Wednesday, September 28, entering through the Essequibo region, according to a NDP.

He also said that during this weekend these Saharan dust particles would decrease, so it is expected that rain will start again from Monday, August 26.
The highest authority of Inameh recalled that there are currently between 58 and 65 tropical waves crossing the Venezuelan geography, of which 32 have already passed through the country.
He stressed that five of the 17 to 25 storms resulting from the cyclonic activity that began in June over the national territory have been identified, causing rain in areas near the coastal mountain range in the north of the country, specifically in the states of Aragua, Carabobo, La Guaira, Sucre and the Capital District.
He added that this cyclonic activity will also cause rainfall in the Venezuelan Andean region.
