SANTO DOMINGO.- Since noon this Tuesday, the Dominican public organizations have not been working, thus responding to a government provision adopted due to the passage of tropical storm Franklin over Dominican territory.
The measure will be extended to the whole of Wednesday due to the prolonged incidence of the phenomenon, which is expected to leave abundant rainfall.
The provision was announced by the Minister of Labor, Luis Miguel de Camps, at the conclusion of a meeting of President Luis Abinader with officials and relief agencies on Monday, in which measures were coordinated before the passage of the Franklin storm through the country.
