The act theater and the amateur theater group Skaleta present a hilarious comedy full of mystery, blunders and twists. It’s regarding her “Tropical Storm” in texts by Lina Psychogiou. From May 15 and for only ten performances, the play will be staged at act directed by Georgia Iliopoulou.
It is the ninth show of the group that for ten years under the guidance of the experienced actress and director Georgia Iliopoulou consistently presents the work they do throughout the year in the weekly classes at the theater act.
In “Tropical Storm” they star the: George Artemakis, Iota Iotopoulou, Olga Kaisari, Marianna Georgiou, Maria Koutrouba, Triantafyllos Konstantinakos, Christos Moutouris, Magda Diliou, Angeliki Panagiotakopoulou, Panagiota Rekouti, Zeta Sourla, Gianna Soutera, Costas Tsortos, Rebecca Tsoulou. Assistant director Zeta Sourlas, photos were taken by Aris Zisimatos, makeup was done by Andriana Fotis. Lighting by Ioannis Anastasopoulos and stage construction by Dimitris Raptis. The console is operated by Katerina Voutsa and Kas Samiotis.
A few words regarding the project:
At his mansion on a tropical island a wealthy doctor awaits guests. Family members, fiancés, cousins, friends and acquaintances and even some strangers. Among them a gawky detective and his brilliant assistant. What can happen at this awkward gathering? Is the doctor as bigoted as his wife says he is? Who loves who and who is engaged to whom? Why doesn’t the tennis player take a bath? Why did the cook fry the fish? Who is on the balcony? Is the tea ready? How was tea made since we don’t have water? And anyway, who did the killings? What does the weather report say? And how much time do we have until the tropical storm reaches us?
A hilarious comedy for 10 nights only, namely from Wednesday 15 to Sunday 19 May and from Wednesday 22 to Sunday 26 May.
