As soon as Metacritic allowed users to rate Horizon Forbidden West. The trolls immediately took advantage of this and lowered the rating of the game to 4.5 points out of 10.
Fortunately, the situation quickly returned to normal, and the score rose to 7.7 points.
It’s worth remembering that Metacritic doesn’t do any verification of ownership of a game before allowing it to be rated – that’s how it’s done on Steam. Although there are review bombings on Steam, which have nothing to do with the quality of games.
