The dollar in Colombia continues to rise and, this Monday, May 2, it exceeded the barrier of 4.000 pesos.

At 10:20 am, the currency was trading on average at 3,999.04 pesos32.77 pesos above the Representative Market Rate (TRM) of the day, which was 3,966.27 pesos.
After 10:30 am, the currency rose a little more: up to 3,999.76 pesos. And at 10:46 am, it was trading, on average, at 4,000.07 pesos.
Earlier, the dollar had already exceeded 4,000 pesos, with average negotiations at 4,003.70 and 4,011 pesos. And it was negotiated at 4,017 pesos (its highest price of the day).

In the end, the currency closed with an average trading price of 4,004.45 pesos, 38.18 pesos more than the TRM.
The last time the dollar had a TRM above 4,000 pesos was on January 20, 2022, when the rate was 4,003.95 pesos.
