Triumph Street Triple R 2023 review and experiences

The current expansion stage for 2023 will be delivered with 120 hp. It doesn’t just feel right and precisely dimensioned on paper. The maximum torque of the 765 ccm three-cylinder engine is 80Nm. As a lover of mechanical perfection, one enjoys the measures that Triumph has taken. Here one did not take the easy route of more cubic capacity. The current engine has been optimized with great attention to detail thanks to extensive experience in Moto2. The compression ratio has been increased from 12.65:1 to 13.25:1 – an increase of 4.7%. New pistons, connecting rods and gudgeon pins are matched to new, optimized combustion chambers and ensure more power. New valves and camshafts ensure a larger valve lift and thus better gas exchange, while new gear ratios integrate the new framework conditions into the overall concept in a practical way.
