Anchored in the Triumph range like the unicorn on Haddock’s boat, the Bonneville is the tactical model for a whole bunch of variations (Bobber, Speedmaster, Thruxton, etc…) and for special editions. So being part of the 2024 collection is absolute, it being governed by the Stealth directive. The goal ? An offbeat elegance with a gradient paint scheme.

Eight models are identified in this collection, with 6 different color schemes. The T120, like its little sister in 900 cm3, opts for blue. A deep, intense blue, extracted from between two ocean waters, like a sapphire to which it gives its name. The Stealth singularity places him on a tank where he attempts to cover the absolute black; unless it’s the other way around.

Influenced by brightness, the two-tone scheme is applied by hand following several stages of preparation then covered with multiple finishing layers to provide an impeccable and intense finish. Meticulous work, which will cost you 800 euros more than for a normal 1200 Bonnie. Enough to cross the bar of 15 plates if you add an accessory.

Whether Black, dual-tone or Stealth, this Triumph stands out with its two big assets. A timeless physique that takes us back to the good years of the 650 Bonneville and its big 270° twin. The same one that launched the new generation of Modern Classic in 2016, with a big return of sensations. Imagine, it went from an 865 cm3 engine to this 1200 HT (High Torque) with 54% more torque.

If you are interested in this special version of the big Bonneville, you surely know its claims. But let’s briefly recall its power of 80 horsepower and 10.7 mkg, its electronics with anti-slip, dual driving mode, USB socket and cruise control, its Brembo brakes and its comfort / punch alliance. Its price gives food for thought but you know why.
