Central Russia is already blazing with infections

Moscow and St. Petersburg have very high rates of ARVI, influenza, and coronavirus. Where else can we expect a critical situation, says immunologist Vladimir Bolibok in a conversation with Reedus.

He explained that there is now a triple epidemic in Russia; it is called a tridemic. And it’s in full swing. Over the past two weeks, virus incidence numbers have skyrocketed in the capital and central regions.

“Moscow and St. Petersburg are already at the peak of this tridemic, the rest of the regions are somewhere approaching this peak,” he made a forecast. According to him, tridemic indicators are growing in the Ryazan, Kaluga, and Tula regions.

Bolibok explained that the tridemic now is a combination of coronavirus, influenza, and ARVI infections, and acute respiratory infections are added to them. The most dangerous is coronavirus due to pneumonia and other complications.
