“I was parked waiting for the red light and suddenly I feel the whiplash from behind that was the guy who came in the Mercedes Benz”said the driver of the Logan, named Luis Miguel Fonseca, in statements to the channel Chronicle.

As a result of the accident, a young woman who was standing on the corner waiting to cross Scalabrini Ortiz was struck by one of the vehicles involved in the accident and suffered a broken arm.

“What happens is that really when they hit me, there were people who were going to cross and had gotten off the sidewalk. When I get hit, everyone tries to get back onto the sidewalk and this girl trips and falls. There my car hits the girl, she just hits her, she falls badly and she apparently broke her arm when she fell ”said the driver of the Logan, regarding the young woman who was taken to the hospital.

In addition, the driver of the Logan himself, a Venezuelan national, ended up with severe pain in his spine, his head and his right leg.

Once the accident occurred, Fonseca stated that the driver of the Mercedes Benz tried to escape from the scene of the accident. “Right following the accident, I saw that the boy wanted to get into a taxi to escape. I just went there and brought him down, ”she assured.
