Thiruvananthapuram ∙ As a mark of respect to the late Queen Elizabeth, there will be no official programs in the state today. But the ongoing Onam celebrations which started earlier will continue. Ministers, people’s representatives and officials have also been advised to avoid official functions today.
As part of the official mourning in the country, the central government has ordered the national flag to be flown at half-mast today in the state. The Public Administration Department has instructed the Collectors to take action for this.
