The Trends Center for Research and Consulting continues its first participation in the activities of the current session of the New Delhi International Book Fair, which was launched at the Pragati Maidan Center in the Indian capital yesterday, and will continue until the fifth of next March, within the framework of expanding its international reach in light of a vision that seeks to be a global knowledge bridge.
Trends displays dozens of titles that embody the qualitative research efforts of a wide range of researchers and specialists in the scientific, political, security, economic and military fields, in addition to its encyclopedia on the Muslim Brotherhood and its publications on political Islam movements. It also organizes dialogue and discussion sessions on a number of topics.
The Trends Center pavilion No. 44-45 in the fourth hall in Pragati Maidan began to attract visitors to the current session of the exhibition since the first day, as it was visited by a number of writers, researchers and media professionals from the host country and other countries, where they listened from the members of the delegation of the center participating in the exhibition to an overview of the nature of the work of the center and its studies. Everyone expressed their admiration for the qualitative publications presented by the pavilion, and expressed their appreciation for the international research efforts of Trends, especially his books translated into several languages, as well as the Trends Encyclopedia on the “Muslim Brotherhood” and its nine books, a number of which were translated into several languages, including Urdu.
The visitors also appreciated Trends’ global vision and strategy, and said that the center’s reputation preceded it to New Delhi through its distinguished efforts and activities, which read the present and anticipate the future, and even participate in making it.
On the other hand, the Trends delegation visited a number of pavilions participating in the exhibition, and viewed their contents. They also discussed with their officials regarding building partnerships and future cooperation. Among the most prominent pavilions visited was the France pavilion, because of its knowledge value.
Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of Trends Center for Research and Consultation, who heads the delegation participating in the exhibition, said that Trends’ contribution to the activities of the New Delhi International Book Fair came within the framework of keenness to activate the process of cultural and knowledge movement, as Trends focuses its efforts on supporting knowledge, and providing it with everything It enhances its spread and supports its vitality, due to his realization that knowledge is one of the most important basic elements for understanding events and their developments and anticipating them with scientific visions capable of facing challenges, in addition to his keenness to spread the values ​​of tolerance and coexistence and rejecting extremism and hatred.
He added that the center’s contribution to the New Delhi International Book Fair also comes within the framework of ensuring a qualitative and active presence in regional and international cultural forums, and an embodiment of the “Trends” strategy aimed at promoting the spread and expansion of scientific and research knowledge in all international forums, especially book fairs.
Dr. Muhammad Al-Ali stated that the selection of the New Delhi Book Fair this year came within the framework of the Trends Center’s keenness to attend new regions, especially since the exhibition constitutes an important platform with a cultural dimension in line with the center’s presence on the map of the global cultural knowledge movement, and the most important book fairs in the world.
