Tren de Aragua and former members of Cota 905 participated in confrontation of Tejerías

After the attack with firearms, the alleged criminals withdrew into the mountains.

After learning that criminal gangs were involved in the violent events that occurred in the police centers of Tejerías and La Victoria, Aragua state, journalist Román Camacho assured that the “Tren del Aragua” and former members of the criminal group of Cota 905 (Caracas), propitiated the match.

“Those who remained from Cota 905 moved to Las Tejerías and Tocorón and joined. This occurs almost a year following the death of “el Koki” in that area,” he added.

He stressed that it is presumed that this attack was carried out by the “Aragua Train” because they are the only ones who have the power to do something coordinated and with long weapons in that area.

Camacho recalled that grenades were thrown at the same time at the police commandos of Las Tejerías, El Consejo and La Victoria.

“The tactical units from Caracas had to move to attend to the situation,” he said.

He explained that the suspected criminals retreated to the mountain following the attack, making a search operation at night impossible in that area that they know better than the authorities.

The journalist reported that, so far, there had only been two non-seriously injured officials.

“The Dgcim, Cicpc and other organizations are in the area and there has been no search operation so far. It is presumed that in the next few hours, with intelligence information, a deployment might be carried out, ”he said.
