This Saturday morning, a motorist was slightly injured following an impressive accident which took place in Ferrières when a tree fell on her vehicle in traffic.
It was 7:50 a.m. when the driver of a Suzuki Swift, who was driving between Ferrières and Bomal, was surprised by a tree which fell on her car. The motorist then hit the guardrail. The vehicle was heavily damaged.
The driver was trapped in the passenger compartment of her car when emergency services arrived. She was extricated by the Hamoir firefighters belonging to the Hemeco zone. The motorist was also particularly shocked by the accident. She was taken to hospital.
The Erezée firefighters carried out markings while the Condroz emergency repairers, Lallemand et fils, carried out markings on the other side of the road to allow emergency services to work in complete safety. The Lallemand et fils tow truck then took charge of the damaged vehicle.
