TRAVIS Kelce is having the best time of his life right now. Not only is he dating Taylor Swift, he just landed a highly coveted role.

The 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end has been confirmed to have a cameo appearance in Happy Gilmore 2. He previously expressed his desire to appear in the Adam Sandler film.

Adam confirmed the news on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, saying: “Travis mentioned it, so we have something great for Travis. He’s coming.”

He added, “He’s a really nice guy. You guys would love him in real life. Big handsome guy. So cool. He’s so dashing and so funny.”

Travis is a huge Happy Gilmore fan and revealed on his New Heights podcast that he would do “anything” to appear in the film’s sequel.

“I didn’t even know there was a job opening,” he told his brother and co-host Jason Kelce.

“I will be [ekspresif] extras, anything to be around Happy Gilmore, an Adam Sandler movie or a set—count me in.”

He added, “I’ll do anything in that movie. I’ll be a part of that movie in any way I can.”

Happy Gilmore 2 won’t be Travis’ first big screen appearance, as he’s reportedly landed his debut role in Loose Cannons, an action comedy from producer and stuntman Chad Stahelski, best known for his work in the John Wick films.

Travis will first appear on the small screen after landing a role in Ryan Murphy’s new FX TV series, Grotesquerie.

He will star alongside Niecy Nash-Betts, Courtney B. Vance, and Lesley Manville, with his character making a brief appearance in the teaser trailer released on August 15.

In the clip, Travis is seen crossing his arms in front of his face, as if performing some kind of magic.

Travis is also the new host of Prime Video’s game show, Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?, in which contestants use celebrity help to answer 11 grade-school-level questions and compete for $100,000.

However, football fans need not worry about Travis leaving the sport.

“I have no reason to stop playing football,” he said at a press conference in January. “I love it.”

“We’re still successful, coming in with the right mindset. I just love the challenge that comes every day to try to be the best. Like I said, I have no intention of stopping anytime soon.”

He added, “That’s what the offseason is all about. Getting out there and really finding what you love, and I’ve been fortunate to be able to do some things outside of sports that I enjoy, like being in front of the camera.”

Travis attributes his new career to his appearance as a host on Saturday Night Live in March 2023.

“That SNL thing kind of opened up a new happiness and maybe a new career path for me,” he explained. “But it’s funny for me to say that now at this point in my career because it was so far in the future compared to now.” (Hellomagazine/Z-3)
