Travesías, spirit more than amateur in the Río Negro Regatta

There are more than 70 boats that give life and final number to this edition of the Río Negro International Regatta. Sacrifice and dedication is his motto, money is generally not left over and everything is done with the lungs. They are the crossing boats and their hard-working paddlers, who with 9 categories, are the majority in the longest marathon canoeing event in the world.

As color data on the convocation power that the traverse have, the category K2 gentlemen C has 25 boats in each start line, being the most numerous of the 23 categories that this edition of the Regatta has.

Here the leaders are Claudio and Alejandro Cerda, from El Biguá de Neuquénwho lead by more than five minutes in the general to Gastón and Carlos Chiappe, from the Nautical La Ribera de Viedma.

In the water, the fastest crossing boat curiously does not correspond to a K2 gentlemen A, but to one of B since Pablo Bourlot and Maxi Etchevarnefrom the Municipal Canoeing School of Colón accumulate in the general, runs 4 stages, a total of 6h15m 27s 680.

In gentlemen A, the leaders of the category since the start of the journey are Emanuel and Nicolás Gatica, from Náutico San Antonio Oeste and it has prevailed in all the partial runs so far.

Within the K2 Caballeros D crossing, the fight is boat to boat. In the middle of the competition the leaders are Mariano Brun and Enrique Centeno (Náutica Belén de Escobar), who lead by 15 seconds and fraction to Horacio Corvalán and Daniel Valdez, from Allen Rema.

Within the ladies, there are four boats that faced the challenge and here the ones that rule without opposition are Valeria Busso and Fanny Imilqueo, from the Náutico Luis Piedra Buena.

Within the mixed there are four categories, where Daniel and Susana Ponce, from La Pobrecita de Choele Choel, although the last two stages were won by Myriam Rivera and Francisco Salgado (Talca/San Javier).

In the B Marcela Inda and Pedro Froilán they are giving San Antonio Oeste another first place; between the C the roquenses Maria Mare and Alberto Silveira make their experience count and among the D Marcelo Thomas and Mirim Peñalva (Loberia/Necochea).) are the ones in charge.
