At around 11 a.m. on Saturday, the German was racing along the B108 in St. Johann im Walde in the Lienz district of East Tyrol on his bike – and past police officers who were busy measuring speed. The speedometer showed 180 km/h instead of the permitted 100 km/h. Clearly too fast: The man not only had his driving license confiscated, but also his bike temporarily.
