Traumatology and surgery ward opened in Concepción hospital

Asuncion, IP Agency.- At the Regional Hospital of Concepción, a new traumatology and surgery ward was inaugurated, with six hospital beds and an approximate investment of 68 million guaraníes.

The new pavilion for the traumatology and surgery service at the Regional Hospital of Concepción is an important step towards improving the quality of medical care in the region.

The expansion took place within the framework of inter-institutional agreements signed with the Ministry of Public Health, through the coordination of the National Strategic Directorate of Human Resources in Health, by the Polytechnic and Artistic University of Paraguay.

The aim of these agreements is to improve the quality of care for the population and strengthen health services.

Patients requiring specialized care can visit the outpatient clinic, by appointment, on Mondays from 12:00 to 18:00; Tuesdays, from 7:00 to 8:30; Thursdays from 7:00 to 13:00 and Fridays, from 12:00 to 18:00.

Improvements in pediatrics at the San Estanislao district hospital

Likewise, at the San Estanislao District Hospital in the department of San Pedro, improvements were inaugurated in the pediatric area, in order to provide a more comfortable and safe environment for pediatric patients who are hospitalized in the hospital. In addition to offering quality and accessible medical care to the entire population.

These improvements were promoted by the Ministry of Public Health, in cooperation with the Rotary Club San Estanislao, which invested G. 15 million in the remodeling of the aforementioned area.

The works include the complete repair of the electrical system, painting work, changing locks, repair and maintenance of water heaters and the installation of air conditioning in all rooms.

The opening ceremony was attended by directors of the II Health Region, Edison Florentín; of the San Estanislao District Hospital, Federico Ramírez, as well as representatives of the San Estanislao Rotary Club, among other guests.
