Transitability of rural sections benefits more than 1,800 families from communities in Concepción

Asuncion, IP Agency.- Teams from the Ministry of Public Works and Communications carried out interventions on several sections of routes PY08 and PY05, which allowed more than 1,850 families to regain access to their communities in the department of Concepción.

In the first section, the works included the maintenance of 4 km in the Sanja Moroti Settlement, in Azotey, as well as in the San Miguel Settlement in Yby Yaú, where patching work was carried out.

Likewise, the Loreto – Paso Barreto section was repaired with 5 km of platform profiling, benefiting some 300 families. In the municipality of Horqueta, the route connecting Naranjhaty, Pirity and Ykuapora was improved with a total of 228 m³ of material used for the repair, which reestablished the connection for 250 families.

In the second section, work was carried out in the municipalities of Belén, with works on the Belén – Lemo section, covering 300 m³, for the benefit of 250 families. The Loreto – Jhugua Poi section was also worked on with 500 m³ of patching of the platform, which facilitated the transit for 200 families.

Finally, in Horqueta, work was carried out on the Pirity – Horqueta route, with 140 m³ of patching, improving conditions for 350 families.

With a total of 9 km repaired and more than 1,350 m³ of material applied, the last week was crucial to guarantee the connectivity of these rural communities, promoting the economic and social development of the region.
