A deleted scene from the movie “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts” has been revealed to the public by Steven Caple Jr., the film’s director, who confessed to that he wanted to put a dark touch on the film, but in that particular shot the darkness was so dark that it garnered surprised reactions from those who saw it before release.

The scene was shared by the IGN portal on its official YouTube channel and in it you can see Optimus Prime, the leader of the Autobots, in a fight once morest the Decepticon warrior Transit, whose voice was put by actor John DiMaggio.

The artist’s participation was eliminated, but his work was still recorded in the final credits that are projected at the end of “The Rise of the Beasts”.

Transit is presented as a city bus that has a poster of the film “Beverly Hills Cop III” attached, since the story takes place in the 90s.

The fight, according to Collider, ends with Optimus Prime killing Transit and throwing him into the Hudson River, where other corpses of Decepticons killed by the Autobot are seen.

“When we screened the scene, people were like, ‘Damn, this is a little dark.’ And yes, it was a little bit dark, but I thought it was a movie that I wanted to make like that, but then I started to realize that it was dark, and it felt a little bit darker than it needed to be. So we backtracked on that,” Steven Caple Jr. said.
