Pos Indonesia held a people’s market at the Indonesian Post Museum, Cilaki, Bandung, West Java, as part of a series of events to commemorate its 278th anniversary, on Monday (26/8). The agenda carried the theme of Increasingly Strengthening Diversity.
“We interpret today as a new milestone for us to be present for another 278 years. I am sure that friends with today’s totality, Pos Indonesia can continue to serve the archipelago for the next 278 years,” said Pos Indonesia’s Financial Services Business Director, Haris.
Haris said that Pos Indonesia’s presence for 278 years is proof that the oldest BUMN in Indonesia is able to transform, so that its existence is relevant to the present. The company also continues to innovate so that it will continue to survive in the future.
Pos Indonesia has been known as a provider of logistics services. In the future, Haris continued, the company will focus on innovation, especially in the financial services business line. Moreover, Pos Indonesia currently has advantages in the financial services business sector which has been regulated by law.
“We continue to innovate the financial services business so that the services previously in Giro can be accepted by the public. We have the advantage of being regulated by the law on Giro services. We must be serious because we have complete services,” he said.
Meanwhile, Director of Human Capital Management Pos Indonesia Asih Kurniasari Komar ensured that his party will also improve the competence of human resources (HR) so that they can continue to adapt to technological developments while still prioritizing service. (Z-11)
