Alexander Nübel is apparently regarding to say goodbye to FC Bayern. As reported by Sport Bild, the 26-year-old goalkeeper was released from the medical check in Munich scheduled for Thursday.
According to the report, two clubs are up for debate as buyers for Nübel. It is said to be VfB Stuttgart and an unnamed club from other European countries.
In Germany, only VfB is currently a serious option for the keeper. His most important criterion should be the guarantee of a regular place, so Nübel estimates the chances of this to be the highest for the Swabians. A final decision should be made within the next two days.
Nübel, who moved from Schalke 04 to the Isar in 2020, is still under contract with Bayern until 2025. He was loaned to AS Monaco for the past two seasons.

VfB Stuttgart has strengthened itself once more for the coming season. The Swabians signed the attacking man from league rivals SC Freiburg and gave him a contract until 2026. According to media reports, the 23-year-old South Korean international costs up to four million euros.
“His footballing skills make our offensive game much more variable, and Woo-Yeong is an asset for us with his ambition and his team-oriented nature,” said sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth regarding VfB’s new number 10 and added: “Last but not least, despite his relative already had considerable Bundesliga experience at a young age.”

Borussia Mönchengladbach has signed the Frenchman as a replacement for national player Jonas Hofmann. The 26-year-old offensive player comes from the first division club Stade Brest and has a contract until 2028. The fee should be between six and eight million euros.
Honorat might replace Hofmann “in terms of position and profile,” new coach Gerardo Seoane said on Sunday: “Jonas may have a few qualities that Franck doesn’t have – he has others for that.”

The midfielder is leaving Hertha BSC following just six months and moving back to the Turkish club MKE Ankaragücü. A fee of 350,000 euros is under discussion, Cigerci will sign in Turkey until 2025.
“We have found a good and fair solution for all sides,” said Hertha sports director Benjamin Weber. Cigerci (31) played eleven games for Hertha in the second half of last season. The former Wolfsburg and Gladbacher had already played for the Berliners from 2013 to 2016.

The central defender changes from Union Berlin to the Turkish Süper Lig promoted Samsunspor. The 24-year-old was last loaned to Hansa Rostock, the second division would have liked to keep the Dutchman. According to a report in the Ostsee-Zeitung, the defender was too expensive for Hansa.
Van Drongelen, whose contract ran until 2025, has not played a single competitive game for Union since signing in the summer of 2021. “Even if I wasn’t able to show myself as planned here at Union, I will have fond memories of the time and the people,” he said.

Bayer Leverkusen are said to be interested in signing Niclas Füllkrug. As reported by Bild and Sport Bild, the striker is one of three candidates to replace striker Patrik Schick, who is due to be out by the end of October.
Full pitcher is under contract with Werder until 2025. Most recently, the 30-year-old was also associated with the Italian first division club AC Fiorentina.

After four years at Bayer Leverkusen, the left-back is moving to Spanish Premier League returnees UD Las Palmas on a free transfer. Benkarth played for Bayern for five years, but had lost her place there to Maria Luisa Grohs. As expected, the 2013 European champion and Rio Olympic champion was not considered for the World Championships in Australia and New Zealand (July 20 to August 20).

Oliver Ruhnert, the managing director of the Berliners, added: “David’s pace and his flexible attacking qualities are of great interest to us. We want another dangerous player who will give our attacking game additional impetus.” The 20-year-old striker only moved to London from Norway’s FK Molde in the winter for €12m.

Littbarski, world champion in 1990, came to Wolfsburg in 2010 as an assistant coach under Steve McClaren. In February 2011 he was interim head coach before Littbarski became Felix Magath’s assistant. He also worked in the club’s scouting and has been a club representative since 2018.
