A few hours after his third place at the Renewi Tour 2024, Per Strand Hagenes saw his contract extended by the Visma-Lease a Bike team.
The team Visma-Lease a Bike extended the contract of Per Strand Hagenes (21 years old). The Norwegian, who came through the Dutch team’s development program, moved up to the World Tour this season and has impressed with his results at the top level. Although he had already signed a three-year contract, he has added a season to his contract, linking him to Visma-Lease a Bike. “I feel really comfortable in this team. From my beginnings in the development team to today in the World Tour team. We are always improving together and I am really happy that the team believes in me,” explained the person concerned.
Per Strand Hagenes promised a bright future in the classics
Grischa Niermannone of the main sports directors of the Visma-Lease a Bike team, added about the extension of Per Strand Hagenes : “We are happy to keep him on board. He has improved every year since joining our development team. This year, his first in the WorldTour team, he has made even more progress. We see a great future for him as a strong classics rider.
