KUWAIT CITY: National media have reported the news about the changes in the positions of the ambassadors citing the Union Ministry of Foreign Affairs. According to a Hindustan Times newspaper report, CB George, the Indian Ambassador to Kuwait, will become the Ambassador of Japan. CB George, a 1993 IFS batch, took over as Indian Ambassador to Kuwait in August 2020. He came to Kuwait when he was the ambassador of Switzerland. Current Ambassador to Japan Sanjay Verma is likely to be the new High Commissioner to Canada.
Pranay Vermayav is also the Ambassador of Bangladesh.

These are the first appointments since Vinay Kwatra took over as Foreign Secretary in May.
