Flo Neuhaus (l.) in Stuttgart? The option is now off the table; the former German international will continue to work with Gerardo Seoane in the future, as was the case here on January 30, 2024.

Flo Neuhaus (26) is staying at Borussia – but now a new name is making the rounds!

The January transfer window closes on Thursday (February 1, 2024) – Borussia Mönchengladbach has completed two deals in the past few weeks.

Gladbach stays with Flo Neuhaus – instead there should be home-grown foals

On the one hand, Yvandro Borges Sanches (19) left the Foals on loan and will play for the Dutch first division club Nijmegen until the end of the season. Hannes Wolf (24) was also sold to New York.

Two central transfer questions were finally answered on Tuesday (January 30). On the one hand, Jan Olschowsky (22) remains in Gladbach despite the thoughts regarding a loan deal for the goalkeeper talent.

In addition, Christian Nerlinger (50), advisor to Flo Neuhaus (26), finally confirmed that the former German international will not leave the Foals.

After a statement following Borussia’s 0-0 draw at Bayer Leverkusen (0-0), which sounded very much like a Gladbach commitment, a rumor arose regarding a Bundesliga move for the 26-year-old.

Accordingly, VfB Stuttgart has put out feelers for the midfield strategist. However, this option can be shelved at the latest since the Nerlinger clarification.

Will a Gladbach homegrown product end up with the Swabians? As “Sky” reports, Mo Dahoud is regarding to return to the Bundesliga. He was seen at the medical check early on Wednesday evening (January 31st), only formalities remained to be clarified.

The midfielder was long considered the figurehead of the foal stable alongside Marc-André ter Stegen (32). He shone in numerous youth teams, then made it into the Bundesliga under Lucien Favre (66) and at the latest under André Schubert (52).

The now 28-year-old quickly became a great Foal hopeful – but then left Gladbach following seven years with the club and 85 competitive appearances for the Bundesliga team in 2017.

Already at the age of 17 on the ball once morest the big boys! Mo Dahoud (r.) during a test match once morest Bayern Munich on July 21, 2013.

Dahoud is still under contract with Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion, but following a promising start he has hardly had a chance of late. However, Stuttgart wants to strengthen itself once more in the midfield center – and not Neuhaus, but another close pupil of Roland Virkus (57) and Max Eberl (50), who always supported Dahoud in his first years at Borussia.

According to the report, there will be a loan deal with a purchase option between the Bundesliga surprise team Stuttgart and Brighton – such a scenario has been mentioned once more and once more recently in media reports regarding Neuhaus.
