Bart Nieuwkoop, who was under contract until June 2024 at the Union, was trained at Feyenoord where he was Dutch champion in 2017. He arrived in the summer of 2021 in Brussels in the form of a transfer free. Nieuwkoop will have settled as an indisputable holder in the right lane of the team. He will have played 92 games (8 goals and 11 assists).
