The youth and Al-Hilal administrations reached an initial agreement on the transfer of Colombian midfielder Gustavo Cuellar, the blue midfielder, to the ranks of “Al-Layouth”, according to what private sources revealed to Al-Riyadiah.
According to the same sources, the two clubs agreed in principle to complete the sale of the remaining contract of the Colombian Cuellar, player of Al-Hilal, to Al-Shabab Club, for a sum of one and a half million dollars (equivalent to 5.625 million riyals).
The sources suggested that the youth administration would announce the contract with Cuellar next week, following the player undergoes medical examinations in Austria, the headquarters of the two teams’ camp.
Cuellar’s contract with Al-Hilal remains for a year and a half, as he joined Al-Azraq in the winter of 2019, before extending the contract for an additional year last season.
And Al-Riyadiah had revealed, quoting its own sources, in its issue issued last Saturday, that Al-Shabab Club had expressed its desire to contract with the Colombian Gustavo Cuellar, the midfielder of the Al-Hilal team, adding that the Blue Capital officials did not mind giving up the remaining period of the Colombian international’s contract, In exchange for borrowing the services of international Hassan Timbukti, Al-Shabab player, or left-back Miteb Al-Harbi.
