The EU countries have decided to organize military training for 15,000 soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This is reported by the French agency AFP, citing two EU diplomats.
“The decision was made by the EU ambassadors in Brussels and will be approved at a meeting of foreign ministers on Monday in Luxembourg. It is assumed that this mission will initially train regarding 15,000 Ukrainian servicemen,” AFP reports.
Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that the training of fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine under the guidance of German instructors will go “on a grand scale”. Poland, the Czech Republic, France and the UK are already training Ukrainian soldiers, writes RT.
