A profession of faith. Jean Liermier cherishes actors. His Théâtre de Carouge, which he has directed since 2008, exhales that smell: incense and sweat, grace, great evenings. If we had to distinguish his house, compared to other institutions in French-speaking Switzerland, we could qualify it as a gymnasium: what counts is less the gesture of the director than the training of the performer, his ardor to see more far.

A symbol: the Genevan Gilles Privat, wonderful here in a recent Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett, has just been awarded the prize for best actor by the Syndicat français de la critique. A reference.
