In 2023, 7 trainees in essential knowledge training l’Infrep made two films, Resilience and Journal of a Legacy with the help and advice of the team of Being a LEAD. They then participated in the competition I film the job that I like, the two films competing in several categories.
More than 1,412 establishments 23 different films participated in the competition with several productions but the two Norman films were selected for the final. Three trainees from the group went to the awards ceremony at Grand Rex in Paris, on May 25, and although they did not receive any prizes, the quality of their work was noticed and praised.
A prize from Crédit Mutuel
“The team was very motivated and invested fully in the project. The Region finances the Essential Knowledge system and without its support, these projects might not succeed,” indicates Sébastien Dubost, the regional director of Infrep.
Their work was also noticed by the Mutual credit who chose to reward the short film Diary of an inheritance.
On Wednesday, December 20, Émilie Jahue, head of the Crédit Mutuel Manche Agricultural Market and Sébastien Bouchard, director of the Schuman agency in Cherbourg, came to meet the trainees and present the sum ofe 500 € to the training organization.
The film, which focuses on family transmission and presents the profession of farmer, collects testimonies from the Le Cacheur family of Gaec du Haut-Gelé near Montebourg.
“It was a great experience, we learned everything, from writing the script to editing, it wasn’t easy but we succeeded and we are very proud of the result, it was teamwork. We chose the profession of farmer because it represents values that speak to us and they nourish us all, their activity is essential,” explain the trainees.
