Disney and Marvel’s latest trailer for the upcoming superhero movie Marvels, which is set to premiere this winter, is having a hard time. The video, posted just two days ago, was drowned in hateful and venomous comments, despite the studio claiming the film’s test screenings were brilliant. As of this writing, the trailer has received 399,000 dislikes versus 413,000 likes, making Marvel’s most disliked teaser in MCU history as a percentage.
If we compare these figures with Guardians of the Galaxy 3, then 764,000 “likes” and 17,000 “dislikes” indicate much better performance. And even the much-criticized She-Hulk didn’t do so badly: its trailer got 786,000 likes and 553,000 dislikes.
As for other official Marvel channels for Spanish-speaking countries, Latin America and Indonesia, the statistics are even worse. So it’s clear that something is wrong here and the fans seem to be very upset with what was presented.
