Sony Pictures has just released the first trailer for Bad Boys : Ride or Diethe fourth installment of the film franchise which, so far, has grossed $841 million at the box office.
The markers of the Bad Boys franchise are there: bling bling, punchy lines, a well-oiled tandem, an effective second degree and spectacular action galore.
Cool and gangs
Explosive and generous blockbuster where no one takes themselves seriously, Bad Boys 4 is the fourth film in the Bad Boys franchise, arriving almost thirty years after the original. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence return as detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett who investigate drug trafficking in Miami. Alexander Ludwig, Vanessa Hudgens, Eric Dane, Paola Núñez, Rhea Seehorn, Tasha Smith, Jacob Scipio and Ioan Gruffudd complete the cast.
The film is directed by the tandem Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, the same one who directed the third part of the cinematographic franchise Bad Boys for Life in 2020. Beyond this trailer, no details on the plot have yet filtered. Note that Chris Bremner is also back writing the screenplay. Bad Boys 4 will be released in cinemas in France on June 5, 2024.
