Kalamasery: Those who died in the accident at Kochi University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) have been identified. Second year students Atul Thampi from Koothattukulam, Ann Rufta from North Paravur, Sara Thomas from Thamarasery and former student Alvil Joseph from Palakkad Mundur have died. 51 people were injured. Two of them are in critical condition. Both were admitted to Aster Medicity Hospital.
Currently 34 people are undergoing treatment at Kalamasery Medical College Hospital. Two people with head injuries were shifted to ICU. Both are girls. 31 are in the ward and one is in casualty. 15 people were taken to Pathathipalam Kinder Hospital. Two people were discharged from here. One underwent CT scanning. One person was also admitted to Thrikkakara Sunrise Hospital. He was discharged as his injuries were not serious.
