A tragedy occurred this Wednesday in Waregem, West Flanders. A man stabbed his wife in a beauty salon and, while she tried to flee in her car, the man set the car on fire, as reported by our colleagues from Nieuwsblad.
Unfortunately, the lady died from her injuries. Police and firefighters rushed to the scene, but the victim might not be saved. The police then broke down the door of the couple’s home to take care of the children.
The man was arrested and a security perimeter was set up.
