According to known information, the aircraft crashed into a house on the outskirts of Turin, leaving a 5-year-old girl dead and her parents and her 9-year-old brother injured.
The plane was on a training flight when it crashed, the Italian Air Force said in a statement. The pilot, who has not been identified, ejected safely and was not injured.

Emergency services quickly arrived at the scene of the accident and rescued the victims. The girl was pronounced dead at the scene. Her mother, father and brother were taken to a local hospital, where they are in stable condition.
The accident has caused shock in Italy. Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi expressed his condolences to the families of the victims.
“We are deeply shocked by the tragedy in Turin,” Draghi said in a statement. “Our thoughts are with the families of the victims.”
