Oklahoma: A mother and her three children were found dead in Oklahoma. After shooting and killing her children, the mother committed suicide by shooting herself. Brandi McCasley, 39, shot and killed her three children inside her Verdigris home before killing herself. Children aged 11 and six and an 11-month-old child were killed.
Police arrived at the home in Verdigris in the Tulsa metropolitan area following hearing what sounded like fireworks coming from the home. Brandi McCaslin was distraught over her broken relationship with Billy Jacobson, the father of one of the slain children.

Police found Brandi McCaslin at her home in Verdigris with a gun. They did not allow the police to enter the house. The police tried to persuade them for a long time. Then, when no sound was heard from the house, the police entered by force. Police were able to find Brandy lying dead inside the house following killing the children.
