A night of fun among friends who drank liquor ended in tragedy following the incursion of hitmen on a motorcycle that killed two of them and left two others injured.
The gunshot attack occurred at midnight this Sunday at the entrance to the La Bolivariana neighborhood, at a time when the victims, identified as May Gandia Mendoza and Deiver González, were chatting at a night establishment.
According to preliminary versions, the antisocials arrived there, whose grillman got out, unholstered the firearm he was carrying and without saying a word began shooting indiscriminately.
Witnesses said that Gandia Mendoza, who was nicknamed ‘El Makina’, tried to run to save his life but the hitman chased him and attacked him with bullets until he was lifeless.
It was learned that González was taken to the nearest clinic, but minutes following entering they confirmed his death as a result of a wound to his head.
Meanwhile, the other two injured people, who might not be identified, continue to receive specialized care at a clinic in the city.
