A motorist died following a swerve that occurred on Saturday morning in Jauche, in the entity of Orp-Jauche, we learned on Monday from the Walloon Brabant public prosecutor’s office.
The driver of a car was driving in rue de la Gare, in Jauche, towards Hannut, when he left the road before violently hitting the facade of a house, Saturday around 2:15 a.m.
The man, born in 1956 and living in Ramillies, was very seriously injured. He was taken to hospital where he died from his injuries.
Under the force of the shock, part of the wall of the house collapsed.
The occupant of the damaged home, a man born in 1977, was slightly injured by debris.
