An American bride lived a tragic story, following she saw the love of her life die just one hour following the marriage contract, specifically while they were standing together to take wedding photos, as a result of a blood clot.
During what was supposed to be one of the happiest days of her life, Johnnie Mae Dennis’s wedding took a tragic turn when her husband, Torrez Dennis, died while taking wedding photos outside their residence in Omaha, Nebraska, on Monday.
At 4.35pm, just an hour following the ceremony began, Torrez’s heart stopped and he passed away at the age of 48, in front of the couple’s children, family and friends “within seconds”.
Monica Miller, a friend of Johnny May, said it was “the happiest day of Torrez’s life,” adding, “I might see the smile on his face and how happy he was,” according to local broadcaster KATV.
The friend has set up a GoFundMe fundraising page to help the grieving widow meet funeral and other expenses for tasks such as mowing the lawn and clearing the front of the snow in the coming months.
