A 40-year-old Belgian lost his life in a kitesurfing accident in Denmark, according to reports from several local media. The accident happened on Monday followingnoon in Hanstholm, in northern Jutland.
The Belgian lost control of his kite and fell into the water. “The exact circumstances of the accident are still unclear,” said the local police spokesman.
The victim was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries and did not survive his injuries.
